Fall Collection Giveaway (2017)
The days are getting shorter and the air is getting crisper. We welcome the metamorphosis with open arms, taking our time to express gratitude for family, friends, the beauty of our mountain home and the bounty of our local foodshed.
We created The Fall Collection in homage to this glorious season, from the Cider Caramel to the Pumpkin + Spice Truffle, each confection is handcrafted with our bean-to-bar chocolate and features ingredients thoughtfully sourced for their integrity, many from our local farmers like Flying Cloud Farm (pumpkins), McConnell Farms (cider), and Barkslip Farm (pears).
One of our favorite parts of our work is sharing the chocolate we make with our friends all over the world. We're so excited about the Fall Collection that we've decided to send a 12 Piece Box to one of our friends.
Simply leave a comment below telling us what you love the most about Fall. It could be apple picking, going to the fair (the NC Mountain State Fair starts this weekend!), carving pumpkins, or going for a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway to see all the changing leaves...

My favorite things about fall… the sudden change of the smell in the air, the crunch of the leaves beneath my feet. The way everyone’s noses turn red from the chill. Sweaters, scarves, hearing the cracks and pops from the fireplace. Ahh, so ready. I want chocolate now. As a side note, I worked downtown for 5 years and once a week after work, I’d stop by your shop and buy a half dozen truffles. I had a baby in March and haven’t been since. I miss those sweet little indulgences. ????
Fall is my favorite season because of well, everything! Summer’s over—the cool, crisp air soothes my soul. No.More.Mosquitos. The changing of the leaves in Asheville and the surrounding area is absolutely breathtaking. Pumpkin soup, bread, pie, lattes, beer…give me all of it, every day. I always look forward to the return of the FBC pumpkin truffle; so good, SO GOOD! Boots, sweaters, and scarves. Having friends over to play outdoor games and roasting marshmallows on the firepit. Apple picking at the local orchards is always so much fun, and should not be done without a cider donut and hot apple cider in the other hand. Ziplining at Navitat in the Fall is pretty amazing! My husband’s birthday usual falls right around peak leaf season, and that’s pretty special too. I could keep going, but I think I better leave space for someone else’s comments. Happy (almost) Fall!
