French Broad Chocolates has two different stops to plan around in Asheville. The Chocolate Lounge on Pack Square is a place to sit down with dessert and drinking chocolate. The Chocolate Factory & Cafe on Riverside Drive is where we make our chocolate and welcome visitors for a guided tasting and tour.

Chocolate Lounge, downtown on Pack Square
Find the Chocolate Lounge at 10 South Pack Square, Asheville, NC 28801. Come for a cup of drinking chocolate, a dessert to share or a little blue box of bonbons to take home.
The menu includes housemade ice cream, cookies, cakes, brownies and other desserts made with chocolate from our Asheville Chocolate Factory. Ask the team about the day's choices. Check current ingredients and discuss food allergies when ordering; a menu category alone doesn't establish whether an item suits your needs.
The Chocolate Lounge is a useful stop during a day downtown. For directions, opening hours and menu links, keep the locations page handy rather than relying on an older listing.
The Macaron & Gift Boutique beside the Chocolate Lounge is scheduled to open in October 2026. Check the locations page for opening updates when planning a later visit.
Chocolate Factory & Cafe, Riverside Drive
Visit us at 821 Riverside Drive, Asheville, NC 28801. The cafe has chocolate, baked goods, coffee drinks and ice cream, along with gifts to take home.
Reserve a Chocolate Factory tour if you'd like a guided tasting and an explanation of the bean-to-bar process. Allow about 45 minutes, and arrive 10 minutes before your reserved time. You'll view production through the glass; the work underway varies with the day's schedule.
The Chocolate Lounge and Chocolate Factory are at different addresses. Check your reservation before setting off so you arrive at the right place.
Choose chocolate to take home
Bonbons and truffles give you filled chocolates in several flavors. The Signature Collection includes Raspberry Ganache, Hazelnut Praline, Dark Chocolate Ganache and Wildflower Honey Caramel. Read the current product details when choosing a box, especially for a gift.
Our chocolate bars include single origin dark chocolate and milk chocolate, along with bars made with ingredients such as sea salt, hazelnuts and malted barley. You can browse the online collection before visiting, then ask the shop team about what's available that day.
